Lion Fight 70

Main Event: Dechsakda Burkes Martial Arts (160-80-10) vs. Gebril Chaibi (45-12)

Lion Fight World Featherweight Title – 126 lbs. / 57 kg

It’s a classic showdown between the vastly experienced veteran Thai standout Dechsakda against the young gun Chaibi. This will be the second crack at a Lion Fight World title for Dechsakda, who was originally set to face Road to Lion Fight – Italy tournament champion Roberto Oliva for the Lightweight crown. Instead, Chaibi steps in on short notice with a golden opportunity to register a stunning upset. Chaibi is the youngest fighter on the Lion Fight roster at 21 years old, having moved to Thailand to fight professionally when he was just 15.

Co-Main Event: Natalie Morgan (8-3) vs. Selina Flores (3-0)

Lion Fight Women’s North American Super Bantamweight Title – 122 lbs. / 55 kg

Morgan earned her shot at the title, vacated by the retirement of Whitney Tobin, after a decision win against Candice Mitchell at LF63 back in February. She will have the home-town advantage fighting in Los Angeles, but Flores, who ended her highly successful amateur run just two years ago, will have strong contingent of fans there as well as she hails from San Diego, California. The rivals are quite familiar with each other having previously trained together.

Lion Fight 70

Carlos Guerra (31-3) vs. Jefferson Silva (19-2)

Lion Fight North American Welterweight Title – 147 lbs. / 67 kg

A new champion will be crowned in this division in a clash between Guerra, who fights out of Mexico City, Mexico, and Silva, who is originally from Brazil and now fights out of San Antonio, Texas. In his organizational debut, Guerra has the chance to become Lion Fight’s first North American champion from Mexico. Silva, who made his Lion Fight debut back in April, is a training partner of light heavyweight contender Washington Dos Santos.

Lance Dixon (5-1-1) vs. Jose Montelongo (2-0)

Middleweight – 155 lbs. / 70 kg

Los Angeles’ own Dixon makes his first appearance inside the Lion Fight ring, while “Scarface” Monthlong, who fights out of, Arlington, Texas, is doing a quick turnaround coming off a TKO victory over Shaun Shubert at LF69 in August.

Lion Fight 70

Travis Petralba (3-1) vs. Jordan Weiland (1-0)

Welterweight – 143 lbs. / 65 kg

It’s a long-awaited return to action for Petralba, who is from Hawaii but now fights out of Los Angeles. Petralba was successful in his organizational debut then picked up two wins in Thailand after completing nursing school. This will be the promotional debut for Weiland, who is a training partner of Dixon’s.

Lion Fight 70

John Garcia (1-1) vs. Julio Rios (1-1)

Super Lightweight – 140 lbs. / 63.5 kg
